About Mentorship and Professional Development Group
To raise 100 Highly successful professionals among the Youth of All Saints’ Anglican Church, Yaba through deliberate and intensive mentorship program in 10 years.

Mentorship & Professional Development Sub-Committee
Segment in Focus:
Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs
- Work with the Data Management and Performance Evaluation sub-committee to identify and keep a database of parishioners that fall in this category, with regular updates.
- Guide every parishioner in this category in setting up a 10 year plan, with framework for follow-up through regular check-ins and accountability partnership.
- Provide career counselling & career guidance for the professionals in All Saints Anglican Church, Yaba, through conferences, seminars, workshops, fairs. and other mediums to be determined.
- Provide training on leadership & emotional Intelligence as well as recommend tutorial services, qualifying exams for professionals.
- Organize networking events to bridge the gap between relevant professional bodies and the professionals.
- Source for and develop a network of mentors in various identified parishioners’ fields of interest, in line with the Biblical leadership standards highlighted in 1 Tim. 3:1-10.
- Provide one on one mentorship and career guidance to the professionals as well as expose and link the professionals to notable mentors in their chosen fields.
- Enlighten on job opportunities, skills development initiative as well as with their experience and guidance, secure jobs, and development opportunities for the professionals.
Students’ Mentorship, Admissions and Career Planning Sub-Committee

Segment in Focus:
Students in tertiary institutions and senior secondary schools
- Work with the Data Management and Performance Evaluation sub-committee to identify and keep a database of parishioners that fall in this category, with regular updates.
- Guide every parishioner in this category in setting up a 10 year plan, with framework for follow-up through regular check-ins and accountability partnership.
- Provide career counselling and guidance to the students, to enable them secure admissions and excel in their chosen fields of study both within and outside Nigeria.
- Mentor, guide and provide e-Learning support services, seminars, programs, academies that will aid the overall excellence of the students.
- Advise, recommend, and where possible, provide tutorial services for students to ensure their excellent performance in schools.
- Help identify, advise, and inform the students on available scholarships to provide some form of financial aid to the students under these categories, with special focus on foreign scholarships and admissions.
- Support with application review services as well as, be a link to other notable sources to see to the successful outcome of any application process.
Employment Management Sub-Committee
Segment in Focus:
Young Professionals, New Graduates
- Provide support, guidance and counsel to those under this category to ensure an excellent employment growth for them.
- Work with the Data Management and Performance Evaluation sub-committee to identify and keep a database of parishioners that fall in this category, with regular updates.
- Guide every parishioner in this category in setting up a 10 year plan, with framework for follow-up through regular check-ins, progress tracking and accountability partnership.
- Provide support, guidance and counsel to those under this category to ensure an excellent employment growth for them.
- Maintain an Employment Bulletin Board that sources for employment opportunities, notifies and guides parishioners in taking advantage of such opportunities.
- Provide employment management counselling & career guidance (e.g drafting high-impact resume, interview preparations, etc) for the professionals through conferences, seminars, workshops, and other mediums to be determined.
- Provide tips, training on leadership, team building & emotional Intelligence as well as recommend services, qualifying exams to improve their employability and productivity levels in the workplace.
Diaspora Connections & Support Sub-Committee
Segment in Focus:
Young Professionals and Students in Tertiary Institutions abroad.
- Work with the Data Management and Performance Evaluation sub-committee to identify and keep a database of parishioners that fall in this category, with regular updates.
- Guide every parishioner in this category in setting up a 10 year plan, with framework for follow-up through regular check-ins, progress tracking and accountability partnership.
- Provide regular hangouts, meet-ups and sessions with the participants under this category to provide some form of community to make their transition and societal integration a lot easier.
- Provide support to participants under this category to aid the transition process. This support shall include access to financial aids, housing support, choice of schools, Church, health care and available benefits.
